It was a joy to watch our Junior School pupils take part in the Poetry by Heart competition on Thursday 27 February. All of the children performed exceptionally well, each one with their own unique style of delivery – they certainly made it very difficult for the judges!

What mental health resources are there at Dame Allan’s?
Being well is not just the absence of illness, it is also the presence of good mental health. Mental health problems can affect anyone irrespective of age, race, sex, popularity, academic attainment or family background. A person might seem outwardly fine, but could still be having significant problems. You can’t tell by looking at someone how well they are.
Could you be a member of our community choir?
Our music department is putting together a community choir to perform Zadok the Priest with the pupils’ Senior Choir and Symphony Orchestra at the Spring Concert on Wednesday 1 April 2020.
