DABS student Harrison Card-Williams is celebrating his GCSE results, which includes an exceptional grade 8 in Drama – the equivalent of an A*.
Harrison said: “I was thrilled when I read my results, I didn’t think I’d do so well! I’m glad I can finally relax now, I’ll be celebrating at Leeds and Reading Festival.”
Harrison joined Dame Allan’s when he was just four years old, but his dad Simon, owner of Crest Photography, has worked with Dame Allan’s for the past twenty years.
Simon said: “I’m really proud of Harrison and his results. It has been great to see his confidence levels improve in drama over the last two years.
“I’ve been photographing life at Dame Allan’s four years before Harrison was even born, so when the time came to choose a school for him, I knew Dame Allan’s was where I wanted him to go. The teachers are fantastic and the school is a really nurturing environment.
“From the Junior School to the Senior Schools, Dame Allan’s has been the perfect environment for Harrison to thrive.”
Harrison will return to Dame Allan’s Sixth Form in September to study drama, psychology and business at A Level.
