Children in Reception class at Dame Allan’s Schools had a very special graduation ceremony to mark the end of the school year.

To celebrate their ‘graduation’ from Early Years, the children, aged 4 and 5, donned red academic gowns and mortarboards to receive certificates from Principal Dr Hind.

Proud parents watched as the children received their scrolls and sang ‘This is the time we graduate’ and ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It’

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Hind said: ‘This is a wonderful time to celebrate all of the children’s achievements in Reception. We are really excited for them to make the move into Key Stage 1; we are sure they will love it just as much as they have Reception.’
