Physical Education – A level

A Level Physical Education offers an academically demanding exploration of sport, performance and the human body.

Pupils develop a detailed understanding of how physical activity affects us physiologically and psychologically, alongside studying the social, historical and contemporary influences shaping modern sport. Theory is consistently brought to life through practical application, with pupils encouraged to draw on their own sporting experiences to deepen analysis and evaluation.

The course is supported by Dame Allan’s exceptional sports provision, with extensive facilities, specialist coaching and a strong culture of participation and performance across the school.
