Economics – A level

Economics equips pupils with a powerful framework for understanding how the world works.

The course develops an informed, critical approach to contemporary economic issues, from inequality and poverty to climate change, globalisation and government policy.

Teaching places strong emphasis on analytical thinking and clear written argument. Pupils learn to interpret data, apply economic models and evaluate competing perspectives with precision and independence. Economics challenges pupils to question assumptions and engage confidently with complex ideas.
