A Level Drama and Theatre Studies is a demanding and creative course for pupils who enjoy performance, analysis and collaborative work. Pupils study a wide range of plays and theatrical styles, engage critically with live theatre and explore the work of influential practitioners.

Practical work is closely integrated with written analysis, ensuring a deep understanding of how theory informs performance. Pupils devise original work, interpret set texts and reflect analytically on their creative choices. The course develops confidence, communication, empathy and disciplined thinking.
