Rowing

Winter training features sessions in Tyne United’s state-of-the-art rowing tank, which replicates on-water conditions.

For beginners, a six-week learn to row course is available to those in Years 7-13. Rowing club runs three times a week for Years 7-13. There is also a rowing development squad for Years 9-13 and a Rowing Explore Group for Year 7-13 .

The school has forged a strong partnership with Tyne United Rowing Club (TURC) to provide pupils access to state-of-the-art facilities, expert coaching and a thriving rowing community.
