Parents' Association

The Dame Allan’s Schools Parents Association (DASPA) is an important part of the Dame Allan’s family. It aims to engage parents and carers, students and staff to work together to enhance the experience and educational resources at the schools.

A very active association, DASPA organises many annual events including Christmas and Summer Fairs, a Family Ceilidh, uniform sales, children’s parties, film nights and a Biennial Ball.

DASPA raises money to enhance student life and has recently funded the Junior School Pond Project, the professional lighting in the Senior Schools' drama department, timpani drums, two sets of portable floodlights and a bowling machine for cricketers. DASPA plays an equally important role in bringing together the wider community of Dame Allan’s Schools with our activities welcoming school charity groups, local community groups, other schools and the Allanian Society.

During the COVID-19 crisis, we have helped parents with uniform sales and gave 50% of proceeds to the Schools’ COVID-19 Bursary Appeal. We are currently working on platforms for parents to network with each other with a LinkedIn page and a parents’ directory. It is hoped that we can support each other with these initiatives.

We welcome new members and would love to hear from you. Our email is or we can be contacted via the School Office at either of the Junior or Senior Schools' sites.

If you would like to support DASPA, please get in touch with us or make us your friendly charity on the Give As You Live website!

Thank you.
