The Governors are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Will Scott as Principal of Dame Allan’s Schools. Mr Scott will assume his new role in September 2020 when Dr Hind retires.

Mr Scott is a graduate of St Andrews and spent his early career in the Royal Navy and the City. His first teaching post was at the RGS in Newcastle upon Tyne, moving to Clifton College in Bristol when he was appointed Head of Economics and Business. He joins Dame Allan’s from St Lawrence College in Ramsgate where he is Deputy Head (Academic).

We look forward to welcoming Mr Scott and his family back to the North East where they can continue to enjoy their interest in sport and the outdoors.

The Governors are very grateful to Dr Hind for his successful tenure at Dame Allan’s and wish him and his family well in the future.
