Parents’ Association (DASPA)

The Dame Allan’s Schools Parents' Association (DASPA) is an important part of the Dame Allan’s family. They work with parents, staff and pupils to enhance the school experience.

What is DASPA?

DASPA is a group of parents who fundraise to enhance school life. They organise many events throughout the school calendar including Christmas and Summer Fairs, a family Ceilidh, uniform sales, year group parties, film nights and a Biennial Ball. In addition, they actively support school events such as music concerts and drama productions.

What have they supported?

Recently DASPA have funded:

 

  • a kiln for the art department
  • an embroidery sewing machine for the art department
  • a digital piano for the music department 
  • a gazebo for the sports department
  • spiders and snails for the science department
  • a pasta machine for the food tech department
  • a reindeer visit for the Junior School
