Psychology – A level

Psychology A Level offers an ambitious and engaging introduction to the scientific study of mind and behaviour. Pupils explore why people think, feel and act as they do, drawing on evidence from research across social, cognitive, biological and developmental psychology.

This course develops strong analytical, evaluative, and communication skills, with students learning to assess research and apply psychological theory to real-world contexts critically. A strong emphasis is placed on research methods and data analysis, with opportunities to design, conduct and evaluate psychological investigations.
