Mark Fiddaman has won the Alliance Francaise Ray White Essay Prize for French.  This is the 6th consecutive year a Dame Allan's pupil has won this prize.


Environment Award winners
The Young Enterprise Company Eco2 won the Young Enterprise Environment Award 2008


Badminton Success
Ira Banarjee won the U12 Girls' singles at the Newcastle Schools' badminton tournament.
She also won the girls doubles with Saranya Menon and the mixed doubles with Oscar Maung Haley.
The School won the top school trophy at U12 level.
