We aim to foster a life-long enthusiasm for learning

The single sex environment of the Girls’ School promotes a self-confidence that contributes to higher academic development and achievement. Our pastoral system reinforces this self-confidence and instils a feeling of being a valued and happy pupil ready to contribute to the life of the School and beyond.

Dame Allan's Girls school pupils“The combination of curricular and extra-curricular activities provides a great variety of opportunities for pupils to develop academic, sporting and leadership talents. The Schools provide multifarious opportunities for pupils to take on leadership roles and this is a strength of their educational experience.”
ISI Report 2006

Girls follow a broad curriculum usually leading to nine subjects at GCSE.
