We aim to foster a life-long enthusiasm for learning

The single sex structure allows boys to develop at their own pace and gain confidence to flourish in their chosen subjects. Staff are able to tailor the lessons to match boys' interests and preferred learning styles. The house system reinforces their self-confidence and encourages boys to mature within an atmosphere of mutual encouragement and motivation.

Dame Allan's Boys school pupils“The combination of curricular and extra-curricular activities provides a great variety of opportunities for pupils to develop academic, sporting and leadership talents. The Schools provide multifarious opportunities for pupils to take on leadership roles and this is a strength of their educational experience.”
ISI Report 2006

Boys follow a broad curriculum usually leading to nine subjects at GCSE.
