We take great pride in the extra-curricular activities available at Dame Allan’s Schools. There is so much more to a young person’s development than just than lessons and we see our wide range of activities as an essential part of our students’ development. Students in the Sixth Form are given greater responsibilities including roles as prefects and officers.
In addition to studying their A Level subjects our students participate in super-curriculum activities to enable them to stand out from the crowd by developing new interests and broadening their appeal to university admissions tutors and future employers. Activities may range from pure interest disciplines such as beginner’s Mandarin or a more formal qualification such as the Extended Project Qualification. What is certain is that by the time our students leave school they have the personal and academic skills that will equip them for life at university and beyond.
Our Sixth Form students are also given the opportunity to take part in the community service programme, through which they gain experience and knowledge which helps equip them for life beyond the Dame Allan's Sixth Form.
